- 500g flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 2 teaspoons mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 200 g cream cheese with herbs
- 1 bunch chives
- 200 ml milk
- 2 tablespoon milk for brushing
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Flour for the work surface

- Mix the flour, baking powder, mustard powder, cayenne pepper and 2 teaspoons of salt in a large bowl. Add the cream cheese, 200 ml milk and the chopped chives and work everything with the dough hook to a smooth, non-sticky dough. Then knead the dough again on a floured work surface and shape it into a thick roll. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush with 2 tablespoons of milk.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C top / bottom heat (convection: 180 ° C, gas: level 4) for about 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Tip: Instead of mustard powder and cream cheese with herbs, you can also use curry powder and Indian-style cream cheese. Makes the bread exotic!
