Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Recipe for making mashed potatoes with butter, cream cheese, cream and black pepper.

Ingredients

  • potatoes – 2.2 Kilograms
  • Cream cheese – 240 Grams
  • Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Black pepper – 1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into equal sized pieces. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil and add potatoes. Bring to a boil again and cook for 30 to 35 minutes. Finished potatoes should be easily pierced with a knife or fork, but not fall apart.
  2. Drain the potatoes into a large colander. Place the potatoes back in a dry pot and place on the stove. Mash the potatoes over low heat before adding other ingredients.
  3. Turn off heat and add 1 ½ sticks of butter, cream cheese and ½ cup of milk mixed with cream.
  4. Mix. Then season with salt and pepper. Seasonings can be added to taste.
  5. Stir well and place in a baking dish. Place a few slices of butter on top of the potatoes and place in the oven.
  6. Bake at 175 degrees until the butter melts and the potatoes are heated to the end.
