Ingredients

  • 1 glass black salsify (s)
  • 3 tablespoon mustard
  • some water
  • breadcrumbs
  • Flour
  • pepper
  • salt
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Drain the salsify. In the meantime, mix the mustard with a little water to create a thick sauce. Season with salt and pepper. If you prefer it, you can also bread it with egg, but it gets spicier with mustard. Roll the salsify first in flour, then in mustard and finally in breadcrumbs. Fry the whole thing in hot oil or fat until crispy.
