Ingredients

  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 60 g suar, preferably homemade vanilla suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar, if no homemade one is used
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoon, heaped baking powder
  • 250 ml milk
  • Fat for the waffle iron
  • Icing sugar and vanilla sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until frothy. Mix the flour, cornstarch and baking powder and gradually stir in. Finally stir in the milk.
  2. Preheat the waffle iron, grease it and bake the batter in portions until golden brown. Dust the waffles with a mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
