  • 0.3 liters vodka
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ sugar (as required)
Daisy Brandy
Daisy Brandy

Instructions

  1. Put the daisies without a stem in a mason jar and fill up with vodka (if you don`t have a mason jar, you can use a comparable container, but nothing made of plastic). Let everything steep for about 24 hours - in no case (much) longer, otherwise the schnapps will be inedible!
  2. Then strain the daisies and any residues and fill the schnapps into a bottle.
  3. If you want to add a little more sweetness to the whole thing, you can add a little sugar. I add about 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Just shake it briefly, the rest will dissolve by itself.
  4. The schnapps is great as a digestif and served with a blossom in the glass it looks very nice.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
