  • Wheat flour – 500 g
  • Milk – 150 ml + 1.5 tablespoon. for glaze
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Butter – 100 g
  • Sugar – 60 g (3 tablespoon. L.)
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Dry yeast – 3 teaspoon.
  • Vanillin – 1 sachet
  • Powdered sugar (for glaze) – 100 g
  • Food dye (optional)
  • Coconut flakes for garnish (optional)

Delicious Glazed Donuts (Oven) Instructions

  1. To prepare the dough for donuts, mix in a deep bowl sifted flour (2-3 tablespoons), yeast, granulated sugar, vanillin, a pinch of salt, and warm, but not hot, milk (half of the specified amount). Mix everything thoroughly.
  2. Cover with cling film or a towel and leave to swell for about 30 minutes.
  3. After 30 minutes, add the eggs, the rest of the milk, and melted (cooled) butter, mix thoroughly.
  4. Gradually add flour, knead the dough. When it becomes difficult to knead the dough with a spatula, put it on the table and continue kneading with your hands. Cover the finished yeast dough with cling film and leave to rise for 30 minutes.
  5. After 30 minutes, grease the table and rolling pin with oil. Roll out the dough into a layer, about 1 cm thick, and cut out circles with a glass or any other means at hand. Then we cut out a small circle in the middle of each circle (you can stack it).
  6. Put the donuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or oiled. We bake donuts in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
  7. When the donuts are browned, we take them out of the oven.
  8. Let’s start with the donut frosting. Mix the icing sugar and milk. (I added food coloring to the glaze.)
  9. Now we dip the donuts in the icing.
  10. These are the donuts with glaze. They are not only tasty but also pleasing to the eye. (Sprinkled with coconut on top.)
