Dutch Apple Pie

Dutch apple pie is one of my all-time favorites. This is a wonderful dessert with crumbly dough and juicy apple filling. It is very easy to prepare it according to this recipe. Try it!

Servings: 10-15

Ingredients

  • Flour – 320 Grams
  • Sugar – 320 Grams
  • Oatmeal flakes – 70 grams
  • Butter – 170 Grams
  • Potato starch – 12 grams
  • Water – 300 Milliliters
  • Apple – 5 Pieces
  • Vanilla Sugar – To taste
  • Lemon Juice – 1 Teaspoon

Directions

  1. Combine, for example, in a blender, flour, oatmeal and 120 g of sugar. Melt the butter, pour the mixture over it. Mix well until smooth.
  2. Leave a third of the resulting crumb for the top. Pour the rest into a mold and, lightly tamping, sculpt a cake base with sides.
  3. Wash the apples, peel and cut into small pieces. Drizzle with lemon juice or they will darken.
  4. In a small container, heat the water, dilute the remaining sugar and starch in it. While stirring constantly, continue heating until a thick, gooey mass is obtained. Add vanilla sugar and stir. Pour the apples over with the mixture, stir and place in a mold over the base. Smooth out and cover evenly with the remaining crumbs.
  5. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 40-45 minutes. The Dutch apple pie is ready!
