Easter Cake (without Yeast) Instructions

  1. If you have whole dried fruits, like mine, wash them, dry them and cut them into small pieces.
  2. Whisk soft butter with sugar.
  3. Add eggs, beat again.
  4. Alternately add milk and sifted flour mixed with baking powder. Stir the dough until smooth.

  5. Add dried fruits to the dough, mix. Put the dough in the prepared cake pan (grease the metal pan with oil, and the silicone or parchment pan should not be greased with anything).
  6. Send to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40-50 minutes. If the top of the cake starts to burn, cover it with foil (I didn’t have time to notice, and my cake burned a little, but not tragically). Check the readiness of the Easter cake with a wooden stick, it should be dry.
  7. Remove the finished cake from the oven, let cool slightly.
To decorate the Easter cake, I bought a ready-made frosting and mixed it, as indicated on the package. You can whisk the egg white with 3 tablespoons of the icing sugar to make a wonderful icing. Grease the still warm cake with icing, sprinkle with Easter decoration.
The yeast-free cake is ready. Bon Appetit!
