- Butter a flat dish, or a baking sheet for larger quantities. Grate the cheese and cut the bacon slices into pieces. Place the toast slices close together in the pan and sprinkle thinly with grated cheese. Carefully crack open the eggs and place one egg each as a fried egg on a slice of toast. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, paprika powder or other spices if you like, and sprinkle a little more cheese over the top. Cover with pieces of bacon and bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 10-15 minutes until the eggs have the desired consistency. Divide into portions and serve hot from the pan.
