Fish Pasta Snack

To prepare this delicate and tasty fish paste, you need to take cod, boil it and combine it with fragrant butter and delicate cream.

Ingredients

  • Salted cod – 200 g
  • Extra virgin olive oil – 250 g
  • Garlic (peeled and crushed) – 4 cloves
  • Whipping cream – 250 g
  • Ground white pepper to taste
  • Green onions and bread for serving

Directions

  1. Soak salted fish in cold water for 24 hours, changing the water periodically. Drain the soaked fish. Cut the fish into slices, place in a deep frying pan, and add enough cold water (water should only cover the fish).
  2. Place skillet over medium heat, bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook for about 8 minutes. Remove the fish from the water, remove the skin and bones.
  3. Pour olive oil into a small saucepan, add garlic, and put on medium heat. Bring to a boil, remove from heat. In another saucepan, bring the cream to the initial boil and immediately remove from the stove.
  4. Fold the fish into the kitchen processor, chop it, and then, without turning off the engine, gradually add the garlic oil and cream. Pulse until smooth, puree. Pour white pepper into the fish mass to taste, stir, and transfer the appetizer to a serving bowl. Serve the snack with crispbread, garnished with green onions (if desired).
