Fish Zrazy, or Cutlets Stuffed with Boiled Eggs, Onions and Herbs

Fish cakes have a crispy crust and a soft and tasty filling inside.

Ingredients

For minced meat:

  • Fillet of any white fish – 500 g
  • Stale roll – 100 g
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Processed cheese (optional) – 1 pc.
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

For filling:

  • Boiled eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Dill – 5-6 branches
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Bread crumbs – 100 g
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

Directions

  1. Soak the loaf in milk.
  2. Pass the fish through a meat grinder or grind with a chopper. Mix fish with soaked bun, add egg, pepper, and salt. Optionally, you can add processed cheese grated on a grater to the minced meat. Minced meat is ready.
  3. Cut the onion into small cubes and fry in vegetable oil. Mix fried onion with coarsely grated eggs and chopped dill.
  4. Make round pancakes from minced meat, put a teaspoon of filling inside each and form oblong cutlets.
  5. Dip the cutlets in breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry fish zrazy in vegetable oil on each side for 5 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
