Flat Bread with Cheese Sauce

Do you want delicious homemade bread without spending a lot of time making it? Then make this quick, yeast-free flat wheat bread and serve it with a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour – 500 g
  • Baking powder – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Butter, chilled (cut into small cubes) – 100 g
  • Milk – 280 g
  • Eggs (slightly beaten) – 2 pcs.

For the sauce:

  • Cream cheese
  • Chives, chopped
  • Fresh dill, chopped

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  2. To make the bread dough: Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl. Then put the butter in the flour mixture and turn everything into a crumb-like mass with your hands. In another bowl, combine milk and eggs. Then pour this mixture into a crumbly mass and knead to a homogeneous dough. Then place the bread dough on a floured surface and knead slightly. Form a ball out of the dough, and then press down to make a kind of cake.
  3. Cover the baking sheet with parchment, and put the cake on it. Make cuts on the surface of the future product with a knife. Lightly dust the product with flour and place in a preheated oven. Bake bread until dry sticks, about 25 minutes.
  4. Remove the finished bread from the oven and leave to cool at room temperature. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Mix cream cheese with herbs and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Serve bread with sauce.
