Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 225 grams flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon mineral water

For covering:

  • 100 g ham, raw
  • 100 g ham, cooked
  • 200 g cheese (Emmentaler), rated
  • 200 ml cream OR:
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 shot white wine
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Knead all ingredients for the dough together, shape into a ball and wrap in foil and place in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  2. Dice the ham and mix with the grated cheese, eggs, a small dash of white wine and cream. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. If you like it a little lower in fat, you can replace the whipped cream with sour cream.
  4. Roll out the dough and line a greased springform pan with it. Prick the bottom several times with a fork. Spread the ham mixture evenly on the base and bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 40 minutes.
  5. Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
  6. Can also be eaten cold.
