Ingredients

  • 3 sheet / s puff pastry, frozen
  • 500 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 200 g ham, cooked
  • 50 g ham (pork ham)
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 200 g cream
  • 50 g crème fraîche
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Grease a springform pan with a diameter of 26-28 cm and line the bottom with 2 of the defrosted puff pastry slices and the edge with one.
  2. Grate the cheese finely, cut the cooked ham and smoked ham (jerky meat also possible as an alternative) into small cubes, press the garlic clove through.
  3. Mix the cheese, eggs, cream, creme fraiche, garlic and spices well with the hand mixer to create a creamy mixture. Use salt very carefully and little.
  4. Carefully fold in the diced cooked ham and the cured ham and pour the mixture into the prepared form.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45-55 minutes, then leave to rest for 5 minutes, remove from the mold and serve.
  6. We like to have a green salad and baguette as a main course.
  7. As a starter, the amount is enough for 8 people, as this dish is very filling.
