  • 1 kg apples
  • 350 g flour
  • 250 g mararine
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • powdered sugar
  • some water

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and cut into thin slices. Beat the margarine until frothy, then stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs. Mix flour and baking powder, sieve and stir in as well, then fold the apple slices into the batter.
  2. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, distribute it evenly and bake at 200 - 220 ° C for about 30 minutes until it is golden brown.
  3. Mix the icing sugar and a little water into a thick glaze and spread it on the cake while it is still warm.
