Garlic Chutney

The recipe for a very popular Indian sauce for meat dishes, without which a truly chic lunch is impossible.

Cook: 15 mins

Servings: 10-12

Ingredients

  • Dried coconut – 1/2 Piece
  • Garlic – 1 Glass
  • Coriander Seed – 1/2 Cup
  • Red pepper – 3 Tbsp. spoons
  • Salt – – To taste

Directions

  1. First you need to rub the coconut on a fine grater. If you cannot get the dried product, use ready-made coconut flakes – you need to take 1 sachet.
  2. Peel the garlic thoroughly and mix with the finished coconut flakes.
  3. Lightly roast coriander seeds in a dry preheated frying pan and also add them to the coconut flakes.
  4. Add red pepper and salt to the mixture to taste
  5. Use a blade mixer or food processor to grind the mixture. Don’t mix it too much – the end product should be slightly patchy. It must be poured into a sterile jar and stored in the refrigerator, using as needed.
