  • 125 g suar, brown
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 kg gooseberries or other berries
  • 200 g suar, possibly
  • Cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Crumble the butter, flour and baking powder in a large bowl and add the brown sugar. The 200 g white sugar are still in the original English recipe, but are usually not needed, unless the berries are very sour.
  2. Remove the stems from the gooseberries, wash them and place in an open form. Pour the crumb mixture over the berries and press lightly. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for 45 minutes. Serve hot with cream.
