Goya Yellow Rice

Yellow rice – a detailed recipe. Recipes with similar ingredients: basmati rice, turmeric, cumin, green onion, cinnamon.
Ingredients
- 1.5 tablespoon. long-grain or basmati rice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 tbsp (15 g) butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoon. water
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, heat, stirring occasionally, over low heat for 30 seconds. turmeric, cumin, and cinnamon until aroma appears.
- Add water, salt, and butter and bring to a boil. Add rice and stir well.
- Place a lid on the saucepan and reduce heat to very low. Cook, cover, and not stirring until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender for about 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let stand, without removing the lid or stirring, for 10 minutes.
- Toss with a fork, add the green onions and serve.
