Grilled Tuna

Ingredients

  • Tuna steaks – 2 pcs. (230 g each)
  • Olive oil – 1/2 cup
  • White wine vinegar – 1/4 cup
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Fresh lime juice – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic (chopped) – 2 cloves
  • Fresh ginger (chopped on a grater) – 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – to lubricate the grill

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, white wine vinegar, soy sauce, citrus juice, garlic, and chopped ginger.
  2. Pour 1/2 cup of marinade into a large plastic bag, put the tuna steaks in the same place, close the bag and shake well, put in the refrigerator for 2, or preferably 4 hours. Cover the remaining marinade and refrigerate as well.
  3. Grease the grill grate with vegetable oil and turn on the grill for preheating to medium temperature.
  4. Remove the steaks from the marinade bag and dry on a paper towel. Place the steaks on the grill and grill the fish, uncovered, for about 7 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve the grilled tuna steaks with the reserved marinade.
