Hamburger

by Editorial Staff

Don’t go into the historical details of the German origins of “Hamburg steak” or the reasons for the huge American popularity of “cutlets in a bun.” This hamburger recipe is just to make and enjoy great sandwiches. The main thing here, of course, is the hamburger cutlets, the recipe for which assumes the use of only good ground beef so that the fried cutlet is tasty and appetizing. The basic hamburger recipe leaves room for imagination and complements this dish with any ingredients of your taste and desire.

Cook: 25 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Minced beef – 900 g
  • Dijon mustard – 1 tbsp
  • Worcestersky sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Coarse salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Hamburger buns – 4 pcs.

Directions

  1. Preheat your grill to high. Toss the minced meat with mustard and Worcester sauce. Season well with salt and pepper. Gently shape the minced meat into four 2.5 cm thick patties. Grill them (in the hottest part) until golden brown (2-3 minutes on each side). Move the meat to the colder side of the grill and cook until the desired doneness is desired (4-8 minutes on each side).
  2. Slice up the buns and grill them lightly if desired.
  3. Make a hamburger using any ingredients you like: slices of cheese, tomatoes, rings of white and red onions (raw or grilled), ketchup, mustard, pickles or pickles, lettuce.

Bon Appetit!
