Ingredients

  • 1 bottle schnapps (double grain, 0.7 l)
  • 180 g rock candy, dark
  • 10 g anise seeds
  • 5 g fennel seeds
  • 0.5 stick ½ cinnamon
  • 3 stalks thyme
  • 8 fresh sage leaves
  • 10 fresh oregano leaves
  • some rosemary needles, fresh or dried
  • 1 bay leaf, dried
  • 4 carnation (s)

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a sufficiently large container (preferably a glass) and let it steep for at least 4 weeks at room temperature. Strain, bottle and enjoy ice-cold after a sumptuous meal!
  2. Dark rock candy gives a nicer color, I prefer brown rock candy, dark crust candy or grumpy candy. But white rock candy or brown sugar is also possible.
