Ingredients

  • 200 g millet
  • 1 tablespoon oil (olive oil)
  • 1 medium onion (s), diced
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda or Emmentaler)
  • parsley
  • basil

Instructions

  1. Rinse the millet in a sieve with hot water and drain. Steam the onions in the oil until translucent. Add millet and garlic and sauté briefly. Pour the vegetable stock and bring to the boil. Let it swell over a low heat for approx. 15 minutes. Grate the cheese and cut the herbs into small pieces. Fold in the cheese and herbs before serving.
