Homemade Сhocolates

At home, you can easily make delicious sweets from cookies, nuts, dried fruits, and chocolate. Following this recipe, we prepare homemade chocolates with peanuts and dried cherries.

Ingredients

  • Dark chocolate – 90-100 g
  • Unsalted peanuts – 140 g
  • Dried cherries – 12-15 pcs.
  • Sugar cookies (with the taste of baked milk, etc.) – 4 pcs. (about 100 g)
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Honey – 4 tbsp (to taste)

Directions

  1. Prepare foods for homemade candy.
  2. Fry peanuts in a dry frying pan, cool, and peel.
  3. Cut the dried cherries into small pieces.
  4. Place in a blender the toasted peanuts, chopped cherries, and the biscuits.
  5. Chop everything together so that small pieces of peanuts and cherries remain.
  6. Pour the mixture into a bowl.
  7. Heat the butter with honey, bring to a boil.
  8. Pour the peanuts with cherries and cookies with hot honey and butter. Stir quickly. You should get a thick, viscous mass.
  9. Form small balls from the resulting mass with your hands.
  10. Place them on a foil-lined cutting board and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  11. Break the chocolate into pieces, melt in a water bath (or in the microwave).
  12. Dip the biscuit, peanut, and cherry balls into the melted chocolate with two forks. Rotate the chocolate-covered candies on all sides to distribute the chocolate evenly.
  13. Spread chocolate-covered sweets on the foil.
  14. You can use confectionery sprinkles to decorate homemade chocolates if desired. You need to sprinkle it on the sweets while the chocolate is still on the surface of the sweets.
    Place the chocolate-covered candies in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  15. Homemade chocolates with nuts and dried fruits are ready. Bon Appetit!
