Honey Almond Cake

Well, it’s delicious! What else can I say… There is not a lot of ingredients and it’s easy to bake!

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Flour – 1.5 cups
  • Margarine – 100 g
  • Eggs – 1 pc.
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Sugar – 6 tablespoon.
  • Honey – 2 tablespoon.
  • Butter – 120 g
  • Almonds – 50-60 g

Directions

  1. Mix the sifted flour, eggs, salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and chopped margarine. Place the batter into the fridge.
  2. Put the honey, 4 tablespoons of sugar, and butter in a saucepan and cook it over low heat for about 15 minutes.
  3. Chop the almonds and add them to the saucepan. Cook it for a few minutes more.
  4. Take the batter out of the fridge and roll it out 2 cm thick in the mold. Put it in the oven preheated up to 200 degrees for 10 minutes.
  5. Take it out and spread the filling carefully over it (if the filling gets cold, warm it up a little).
  6. Put the cake back in the oven for another 20-25 minutes.
