Italian Meatloaf

From minced meat, we are mainly used to making cutlets or meatballs, sometimes we fry it just like that with sauce. And I wanted something new and found an unusual use for meat preparation. Read on!

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Minced meat – 1 Kilogram (pork and beef)
  • Sauce “Marinara” – 150 Milliliters
  • Parmesan – 150 Grams
  • Breadcrumbs – 90 grams (or bread crumbs)
  • Egg – 2 Pieces
  • Onions – 1 Piece
  • Carrots – 1 Piece
  • Celery stalk – 1 Piece
  • Olive oil – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Worcester sauce – 1 Tbsp the spoon
  • Salt – 1 Teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Garlic – 3 Cloves
  • Basil – 30 Grams

Directions

  1. Chop the peeled garlic, onion and carrot and celery into medium pieces. Place the vegetables in a mixer.
  2. Turn the pieces into gruel.
  3. Then fry them in hot oil for about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Whisk eggs with salt, pepper, Worcester sauce, and chopped basil in a bowl.
  5. Then add minced meat, ready-made vegetables, crackers and finely grated Parmesan to a bowl.
  6. Mix into a single mass. Then place it in a rectangle on a baking sheet with foil.
  7. Top with minced meat with Marinara sauce. Cover it with foil.
  8. Bake the Italian meatloaf in the oven for 65 minutes at 180 degrees.
