Festive Meatloaf

Baked pork belly meatloaf with dried fruits and nuts. Beautiful in the context and delicious.

Ingredients

  • Pork brisket with skin – 1 kg or a little more
  • Pitted prunes – 50 g
  • Dried apricots – 50 g
  • Peeled walnuts – 50 g
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper mixture

Directions

  1. We make 2×2 cm cuts on the skin with a sharp knife.Wash and dry dried apricots and prunes, then cut them into smaller pieces. Grind the nuts with a rolling pin. We make a mixture of salt and peppers and rub the meat on both sides with this mixture.
  2. We spread the dried fruits with nuts on the brisket.
  3. Roll up the brisket and tie it with culinary thread.
  4. Then wrap the meatloaf in foil and place on a baking sheet. We put the meatloaf in the oven for 1.5 hours at a temperature of 200 degrees. To brown the roll, cut the foil and bake the roll open for 15-
  5. 20 minutes on one side, then 15-20 minutes on the other.
  6. Let the roll cool down without removing the thread. When the meatloaf has cooled well, remove the threads and cut it into pieces.
