Festive Salad “Charlotte”

The recipe for a beautiful, delicious holiday (New Year) salad is the dream of every culinary specialist. This is exactly what the Charlotte salad is, which is prepared from the simplest products. Egg pancakes salad will decorate your meal and give incredible pleasure. Charlotte salad is a fabulous dish with excellent decoration. Try it and surprise your guests!

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Boiled potatoes – 300 g
  • Canned green peas – 200 g
  • Smoked meat – 150 g
  • Mayonnaise – 150 g
  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Onions – 50-60 g
  • Flour – 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Parsley – 5 branches
  • Soda – 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. To prepare the Charlotte salad with egg pancakes, we prepare the ingredients.
  2. Combine eggs with 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise, add a pinch of salt, soda, flour.
  3. Mix everything thoroughly.
  4. Finely chop the onion.
  5. Pour boiling water over for 5 minutes.
  6. Then drain and squeeze the onion.
  7. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  8. Combine potatoes with onions.
  9. Add 2-3 tablespoon. mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.
  10. Cut the smoked meat into cubes.
  11. Combine meat with peas, 2-3 tbsp mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.
  12. Cover a deep round salad bowl with cling film, evenly place pancake rolls over the entire surface.
  13. Put half of the potato mass on top of the rolls, then distribute the meat mass.
  14. Cover with remaining potatoes.
  15. Connect the edges of the film and place the egg salad in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
  16. Before serving, turn the salad with egg pancakes on a serving dish with the pancakes up, remove the foil, garnish with mayonnaise, green peas and herbs.
