Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 120 g cocoa powder
  • 100 g chocolate your choice (at least semi-dark)
  • 120 g flour
  • 125 g mascarpone
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 vanilla pod, the pulp it
  • some butter for the pan
  • 100 ml cream
  • 50 g butter
  • 200 g chocolate your choice (at least semi-dark)

Instructions

  1. Generously grease a casserole dish or brownie dish. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Heat the butter for the dough slowly and let it melt. At the same time, melt the chocolate in a double boiler and add to the butter. Thoroughly stir the sugar into the mixture. Then sift in the cocoa powder and stir in the three eggs.
  2. Now fold in the mascarpone. Stir in the pulp of the vanilla pod. Finally, mix in the flour and a pinch of salt and stir in.
  3. Pour the mixture into the mold and smooth it out. Bake for about 40-45 minutes. Take out the pan with the brownies and chill.
  4. For the glaze, melt the chocolate in a water bath. Add the butter and melt it. Mix both well. Then finally add the cream, teaspoon at a time, stirring constantly.
  5. Now pour the liquid chocolate mixture onto the brownies and smooth out if necessary. Put the mold back in a cold place and let everything cool down, then cut into pieces.
  6. You can also serve the brownies warm with vanilla ice cream, which is how I prefer to eat them.
