Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 200 g crabs or prawns
  • 2 shallot (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 0.5 ½ bunch dill, or 2-3 tablespoon frozen
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ mustard
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled soup powder (Vegeta)
  • salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg
  • breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. After a Spongebob marathon, the children said: Make Krabby Patties! I thought about it once and these things actually turned out really good,
  2. Prepare the shrimp (thaw frozen food, drain the pickles) and chop them into small pieces.
  3. Finely dice shallots (1 large onion is also possible) and garlic. Finely chop the dill. Add everything to the minced meat and mix with the remaining ingredients. Vegeta can be replaced with 2 teaspoons of Thai fish sauce, but it can also be left out entirely (it`s the secret ingredient). Chill for about 30-45 minutes, then form flat meatballs out of them. Best of all, roast medium brown on both sides in the contact grill or in a pan. Should also work on the charcoal grill.
  4. True to style, like in the “Krusty Krab”, the Krabby Patty is served in a burger bun with a slice of cheese, lettuce, tomato and “gherkin” (thin slices of pickled cucumber), mustard and ketchup. But the things taste great even without all the bells and whistles.
