Lazy Mini Pizzas in Buns

If you want pizza, but you don’t want to mess around with the dough, this simple and wonderful recipe will come to the rescue. Although crispy buns with a juicy filling of meat and vegetables under a cheese crust do not look like pizza, their taste is very similar to this favorite dish of many.

Ingredients

  • Unsweetened buns (for example, for hot dogs) – 2 pcs.
  • Pork – 200 g
  • Mozzarella cheese – 100 g
  • Cherry tomatoes – 6 pcs.
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Olives (pitted) – 10 pcs.
  • Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Dried basil – 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley – 1-2 branches

Directions

  1. Cut the boiled pork into cubes. Pepper the bell peppers and cut them into squares. Cut the olives into rings. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
  2. Cut off the tops from the rolls and remove the crumb.
  3. Brush the inside of the buns with tomato sauce.
  4. Put the diced boiled pork into the rolls.
  5. Spread the bell peppers and olives on top.
  6. Add cherry tomatoes, sprinkle with dried basil.
  7. Grate the cheese and sprinkle the buns on top.
  8. Put the buns on a baking sheet and send to an oven heated to 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
  9. Remove the finished mini-pizzas in buns from the oven, garnish with parsley leaves and serve hot.
