Pizza Buns with Meat, Tomatoes and Cheese

Soft dough and favorite filling! Today I will share with you your favorite recipe for buns with meat, tomatoes and cheese. The pizza bun in our family never gets cold, no matter how much they cook! Try it, cook for yourself and your loved ones!

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Milk – 125 ml
  • Flour – 250 g + for working with dough
  • Dry yeast – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Butter – 40 g
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – for working with dough

For filling:

  • Baked turkey breast (or sausage) – to taste
  • Mozzarella cheese – 8 slices
  • Cherry tomatoes – 5 pcs.

Directions

  1. Melt the butter.
  2. We check the yeast for performance: we make a quick dough.
    Pour flour into a cup, make a depression. Pour warm milk into the depression, add yeast and sugar. Mix the milk with yeast and sugar a little. Let the dough stand for a couple of minutes.
  3. Beat the eggs and add to the dough. There is also butter and salt.
    Knead a soft, slightly sticky dough. Do not hammer the dough with flour, while kneading, grease your hands with vegetable oil.
  4. We send the finished dough into a cup, cover with a lid or foil and let it rise well in a warm place for 40-60 minutes.
  5. Now I’ll tell you about my filling. Baked breast in spices (often cooked instead of sausage), cheese and tomatoes. I will use a handful of cherry (fresh from the garden).
  6. Sprinkle the table with flour, take out the dough and knead slightly. Divide the dough into eight parts, round it and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Cut the cheese into slices. Cut the poultry breast into squares. Cut the tomatoes into slices.
    Then we roll out the dough balls into small cakes, add the filling: 1 slab of cheese, about a tablespoon of meat and two circles of tomatoes.
  8. Pull the edges of the dough to the center so that the filling is inside, and pinch it well, forming round buns.
  9. Put the buns on a baking sheet covered with parchment and let them stand for about 20 minutes.
    Meanwhile, heat the oven to 200 degrees.
  10. Then mix the yolk with milk and grease the buns.
  11. We bake buns with turkey, tomatoes and cheese in a well-heated oven at 180-200 degrees for 7-10 minutes.
