Ingredients

  • 3 leeks
  • 2 tablespoon, leveled butter, salted
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 glass white wine, e.g. dry Pinot Blanc
  • 1 lime (s)
  • 1 teaspoon coriander, ground in a mortar
  • 250 ml cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the leek sticks and cut the white and light green into short pieces. Sweat the leek in butter, sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of curry powder and pour white wine over it.
  2. Add the juice of the lime and the ground coriander seeds. Finally pour in 250 g of liquid cream.
  3. Put the lid on and simmer for 15 minutes. Season to taste and season with salt.
  4. The leek vegetables can be prepared well so that you can gain time for other things, for example at a Christmas dinner. It goes very well with roast beef, for example.
