Ingredients

  • 500 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 50 g butter
  • 3 teaspoons basil, rubbed
  • 100 g almond (s), chopped
  • 1 cup cream
  • 100 g ham, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 80 g parmesan, rated

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni al dente.
  2. Melt the butter and roast the basil with the almonds in it for a few minutes. Then deglaze with the cream and stir in the ham pieces. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Then mix in half of the parmesan.
  4. Mix the macaroni with the sauce, chopping up a little if possible.
  5. Serve sprinkled with parmesan.
  6. A dry white wine goes well with it.
  7. I prefer to use raw ham, but it can be replaced with cooked ham
