Ingredients

  • 300 g pasta (macaroni), short
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled salt
  • 150 g ham (Katenschinken), diced, or mixed bacon
  • 2 bell peppers, red and green
  • 150 g cheese, rated, Parmesan and Emmenthaler mixed
  • 6 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 cup crème fraîche, with herbs
  • 50 g butter
  • 300 g cooked ham

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente. Then toss in the butter.
  2. Heat the oven to 220 °.
  3. Leave the ham or bacon in a saucepan. Add the chopped paprika, cheese, parsley, cream and crème fraîche and briefly bring the sauce to the boil.
  4. Put the macaroni in a baking dish. Roll up the ham slices and place them on top. Pour the sauce on top and bake everything in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
