Macaroons with Crumb

Shortbread cookies with almonds and cinnamon. Aromatic, crumbly, and very tasty.

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour / Flour (200 g in the dough, 100 for sprinkling) – 300 g
  • Butter (125 g per dough, 60 for sprinkling) – 185 g
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc
  • Almonds (coarsely ground) – 80 g
  • Sugar (50 g in the dough, 60 for sprinkling) – 110 g
  • Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. To prepare shortcrust pastry, sifted into a bowl flour, put soft butter, put sugar, nuts, salt, and broke the egg. I kneaded the dough in a bowl. It did not stick to hands. Made sausages from the dough, cut their circles. I crumpled the circles.
  2. For sprinkling, I mixed flour, sugar, cinnamon and added soft butter. She made a crumb with her hands and sprinkled it in circles. She baked cookies for 18 minutes at 180 degrees. It is a little reddened. When I took it out of the oven it was soft. The cooled one hardened.
  3. Loosen cookies with a pleasant cinnamon aroma.
