Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g suar
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon apricot jam
  • 120 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 15 g butter
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 250 ml milk

For the sauce:

  • 250 ml cream
  • 180 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 125 ml water, hot

Instructions

  1. Mix the egg, sugar and apricot jam in a bowl until creamy. Sift the flour and mix in another bowl with the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Heat the butter until it is liquid and stir in a teaspoon of white wine vinegar. Pour half of the milk into the sugar-egg mixture and stir well. Then stir in half of the flour mixture well. Finally stir in the rest of the milk and flour mixture. Add the butter and vinegar mixture. Pour the mixture into small refractory molds, cover with aluminum foil, place in the oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 45-60 minutes.
  2. The pudding is ready when the consistency is firm and the color is brown. Otherwise it should be left in the oven longer.
  3. For the sauce, mix the ingredients together and pour over the pudding after it has been thrown out of the mold. Let the sauce soak in the pudding a little before serving.
