Ingredients

  • 250 g mano (s), peeled and diced
  • 75 ml water
  • 125 g suar
  • 4 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ anise, ground
  • 5 grains pepper
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 3 carnation (s)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder, sweet

Instructions

  1. Cook all ingredients together for approx. 20 minutes. The mango needs to get really soft. The chutney can be kept in jam jars in the refrigerator for a few weeks. It also tastes great as a fondue sauce.
