First, the legs of the turkey are rinsed with clear water and then patted dry. Season well with salt and pepper and set aside. In a container (mug, glass, etc.), a marinade is now prepared from olive oil, garlic, thyme, rosemary and the lemon juice. The addition of lemon juice makes the meat wonderfully tender and tender. I put the legs in a large freezer bag and pour the marinade evenly over them. Close tightly with a clip and distribute the liquid evenly in the bag. Then it is best to marinate in the refrigerator overnight. Turn it every now and then.
Preparation in a roaster or similar without a lid for approx. 1 hour 15 minutes at 190 degrees circulating air. Turn once halfway through the cooking time. I always add some water to the roasting pan and add a little if necessary so that the legs don`t dry out too much.
