Mashed Potatoes in the Oven

Mashed potatoes are a very convenient side dish. Is not it? It goes very well with fish, meat, and chicken dishes. And it’s easy to cook.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 1 Kilogram
  • Garlic – 3-4 Cloves
  • Mozzarella Cheese – 110 Grams
  • Hard cheese – 0.5 cups (grated)
  • Breadcrumbs – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Milk – 0.5 cups
  • Butter – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Salt, pepper – To taste

Directions

  1.  We will prepare all the products we need. Wash the potatoes, peel and cut each potato into 3-4 pieces. Peel the garlic. Grate hard cheese on a medium grater. Mix the breadcrumbs with 2 tablespoons of grated cheese and stir. Pour this mixture into a separate bowl. Mash the mozzarella with a fork. All components have been prepared.
  2. Boil water in a saucepan, season with salt and boil potatoes and garlic cloves in it until tender. Add hot milk and butter, and use a blender or pusher to puree it. Add mashed mozzarella and hard cheese that remains. Mix well and add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. It remains to bake mashed potatoes. Grease a baking dish with oil and add the mashed potatoes with additives. Our powder is already prepared from crackers and grated cheese. Sprinkle the entire surface of the puree with it and put the form in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Without closing the lid, we bake for about half an hour. The puree should have a golden brown crust. This dish can be served with fish, meat or chicken. But, believe me, it will also be very tasty with a salad of fresh vegetables.
