Ingredients

  • 180 g dumplins, cut into strips
  • 70 g bacon, mixed, diced
  • 1 small onion (s), roughly diced
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 glass water
  • 3 large mushrooms, brown, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon flour for binding
  • salt and pepper
  • parsley
  • chives

Instructions

  1. Leave the bacon in a well-heated pan until it begins to turn brown. Now add the onion cubes and let them brown while stirring.
  2. Add the flour and mix well. First add just a sip of water and mix well. Reduce the heat a little. Then gradually fill up to a glass of water until some sauce has formed.
  3. Now add the mushrooms and let simmer until soft. When they are a little soft, add the Maultaschen strips and pour on the cream. Now stir well, especially scrape off the brown from the bottom of the pan, that makes a nice taste and a great color. Finally season well with pepper, salt, chives and parsley and serve.
