Ingredients
- 1 pack dumplings
- oil
- 500 g chicory
- 1 handful date (s)
- 1 small onion (s), red
For the dressing:
- some parsley
- 4 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon, heaped horseradish, (cream horseradish)
- 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, white - or even better, white balsamic cream
- salt and pepper

- Peel off the chicory leaves and wash lukewarm. Drain and cut into strips. Cut the onion into very fine rings. Core the dates and cut into strips.
- Chop the parsley and mix well with the remaining ingredients for the dressing. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Cut the dumplings into strips and fry them in a little oil in a pan until crispy.
- Mix the salad with the dressing and spread out on the plates. Place the dumplings hot on the salad. Garnish with a little parsley and serve.
