Ingredients

  • 750 g potato (s)
  • 750 g carrot (s)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 liter ½ meat broth
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • salt
  • Pepper, whiter
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into small cubes. Clean the carrots and cut into slices.
  2. Heat the meat stock, add the carrots and cook for about 5 minutes. Now add the potato cubes and cook the whole thing for another 5 to 10 minutes (depending on the desired firmness).
  3. Drain almost all of the meat broth. Mix the butter in flakes with the vegetables and season everything with the spices. Finally, clean the parsley, chop it finely and mix it with the vegetables.
  4. Goes very well as an accompaniment to fried meat sausage, black pudding or pan-fried meat.
