Ingredients

  • 115 grams flour
  • 115 g butter, (chilled)
  • 115 g cheese, finely rated (Mancheo, Cheddar or Gruyère)
  • 50 g anchovies fillets (in oil)
  • 50 g olives (black, pitted)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cayenne pepper
  • sea-salt

Instructions

  1. Drain and roughly chop the anchovies, pour off the olives, drain and roughly chop as well.
  2. Put all ingredients in a bowl and work into a firm dough. Wrap it loosely in kitchen foil and put it in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  3. Then roll out the dough thinly and cut into strips about five centimeters wide. Then cut into each strip alternately so that triangles are created. Put these on a baking sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C (gas mark 6) for 8-10 minutes until golden. Let cool on a kitchen rack.
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
