Openwork Pancakes

These pancakes are very tasty, thin, and tender. And how delicate they are and everything is in holes – there are so many of them, like stars in the sky! Try it! Everybody succeeds! Pancakes are delicious and incredibly beautiful!

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil (for baking)
  • Soda (baking) – 1 teaspoon.
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon.
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Wheat flour / Flour – 1.5 stack.
  • Chicken egg (fresh) – 1-2 pieces
  • Milk – 1 stack.
  • Kefir – 0.5 l

Directions

  1. Pour kefir into a saucepan and heat a little (it should be warm, but not hot).
  2. Add an egg (if large – one, small – two), sugar, salt, soda and mix.
  3. Put the flour (about 1.5 cups), but so much so that the mass is like a good thick sour cream, now mix everything thoroughly so that there are no lumps.
  4. Bring the milk to a boil and pour it into the mass in a thin stream, stirring all the time (this is how we brew our dough!). If the dough is liquid, in your opinion, add a little flour (don’t worry, the bulk is already “cooked”). Add 1-2 tbsp vegetable oil, mix, the pancake dough is ready!
  5. Bake pancakes, if possible, in a cast-iron pan (according to an old habit, I grease the pan with vegetable oil before baking, regardless of whether there is oil in the dough or not).
