  • 1 cup milk
  • 75 g butter
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled salt
  • 0.5 ½ cup sugar
  • 4 cup wheat flour
  • 15 g dry yeast
  • 0.5 ½ cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. First you have to put the milk in the microwave for 30 seconds and warm it up slightly. Place the egg in hot (not boiling!) Water for a minute and then whisk gently. Let the butter soften. Then mix all ingredients except the breadcrumbs and knead vigorously. Let it rest in a warm place for 45 minutes, until the dough has doubled in size (tip: lightly grasp the dough with two fingers and if an impression remains without the dough jumping back, the dough has rested enough). Divide the dough into 24 small, oval pieces and then roll them in the breadcrumbs. So that the rolls don`t rise like ciabatta rolls, place them on a smaller baking tray and then let rise for another 30 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 190 ° C (375 ° F). Bake the rolls for 15 minutes or until the surface is golden brown.
