Ingredients

  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 50 g pecorino with rocket or another semi-hard cheese
  • 4 slices raw ham
  • some olive oil

Instructions

  1. Wash, dry and quarter the peppers. Cut the cheese into small cubes and remove the bacon from the ham slices and cut into strips.
  2. Brush a pan with olive oil and place the pepper quarters in it. Now alternately add the cheese and ham to the peppers.
  3. Put in the oven at around 180 degrees - after around 20 minutes, if necessary, increase the top heat again.
  4. The pepper pieces are wonderful as an accompaniment to dishes that are grilled or pan-fried.
