Loose Rice for Garnish

Loose rice with spices as a side dish goes well with any meat, fish, or vegetable dish. And so that the rice does not stick together, it must first be fried.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Long grain rice – 1 cup
  • Water – 3 glasses
  • Dry garlic – 1 teaspoon.
  • Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
  • Pepper mixture – 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 4 tbsp

Directions

  1. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat well. Put the pre-washed rice into the pan, add all the spices and salt. Stirring constantly with a spatula, fry the rice with spices until light brown.
  2. Then pour boiling water over the fried rice, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the rice for 15-20 minutes, until all the liquid has evaporated. Now you can remove the lid and dry the rice for another 5 minutes.
  3. Loose rice for garnish is ready.
