Barley Garnish

Ingredients

  • Salt
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 2 tbsp
  • Carrots – 1 pc
  • Bulb onion – 1 piece
  • Water – 2.5 glass.
  • Pearl barley – 0.5 glass
  • Tomato – 1 piece

Directions

  1. Pour half a glass of pearl barley with two and a half glasses of water and put on fire. Bring to a boil and cook for 45 minutes. When it’s cooked, drain the excess water, add a little butter and leave it to brew.
  2. Add diced carrots to the onion.
  3. We also send a diced tomato there, mix and simmer for 10 minutes under a lid over low heat.
  4. Then we add our pearl barley, mix and continue to languish under the lid for 5 minutes. Don’t forget to add salt, by the way. That’s all. Done.
