Ingredients

  • 250 g asparaus
  • 500 g pasta (e.. penne)
  • Salt water
  • 100 g bacon
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 100 ml cream or Cremefine for cooking
  • 1 bunch chives
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 20 g butter
  • salt

Pasta with Asparagus, Chives and Ham

Instructions

  1. Peel the asparagus and cut into pieces approx. 3 cm long. Cook the noodles in salted water until they are al dente.
  2. Heat the butter in the pan and add the powdered sugar to caramelize. Add the asparagus to the pan with the caramelized powdered sugar and fry until soft. After about 5 - 7 minutes, add some pasta water to the asparagus.
  3. Meanwhile, cut the bacon into strips. Put the ham in the pan with the asparagus, sweat it and add the cream. Put the cooked noodles in the pan, sprinkle with the chopped chives and parmesan.
