Ingredients

  • 500 g pear (s) (very ripe, best - Williams), diced
  • 500 g preservin suar
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), including the grated zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove (s)
  • 2 piece (s) ginger, candied, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ ginger
  • 50 ml water
  • 2 tablespoon pear spirit (Williams schnapps)

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well in a stainless saucepan and let steep overnight. Bring to the boil, let simmer for 4 minutes, stirring constantly, for approx. 3-4 minutes. Make a gel test! Pour into jars rinsed with hot water and close.
